The Eurovilllage
was organised on Saturday, 5th May,2018. It was the family friendly event and
celebrated cultural heritage that is hosted by European Union Cooperation in
Pakistan at PNCA, Islamabad. Basically ,
their aim was to remind everyone the EU's cultural richness while also
underlying our unity.
Jean-Francois Ambassador of the EU, confirmed that EU will keep on being
strong, helpful and dependable accomplice in Pakistan. He also included
"We remain for multilateralism, for human rights, and for universal
participation. We work at home and abroad to enhance maintainable improvement,
comprehensive social orders, and the battle against inequality and injustice of
any type".
Families and
children's provided with different stalls
of Europe as a culturally rich and
friendly place. EU's and also the part states , stands displayed their
culturals and traditions, language, music and food to the families and also
provided the information about the EU and its states.
Eurovillage was
transformed into a real event with stalls
of Europen typical food. There were activites uplift and information for
both adults and children including quizzes, selfies walls etc. The evening was
ended with live performances of EU band Lohninger & Fischbacher Duo, Wild
ManGoes, Hun Solo, the Pakistani artist Zeb Bangash's and the blaze performance
of 'Charlie Caper'.
